Wildlife Intarsia by Judy Gale Roberts and Jerry Booher
After reading over the familiar steps to intarsia, I decided to spend some
time working one of the patterns contained in “Wildlife Intar There is no denying that the patterns by Judy Gale Roberts and Jerry Booher are some of the best available either in book format or individually from their site. The book “Wildlife Intarsia” is a compilation of 14 patterns, a detailed step-by-step tutorial and photographs to clearly add to the pair’s explanations. The book is presented in an easy to read format, with the first couple of chapters taking the scroller through the process of intarsia, start to finish. While working through the chapters, beginners will gain confidence and the belief, that they too have potential to make equally beautiful pieces once they have mastered the basics. The experienced intarsian will quickly work through the designs containing many of the similar elements that they have seen in other patterns by Judy Gale Roberts. This style of intarsia projects has a proven appeal and will be admired by the audiences at craft shows and fairs.
