In August 2006, CB Designs  offered our  "Mentora Dragon" to scrollers on Scrollsaw Crafters and Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts forums as a challenge to be creative.

The intarsia / segmentation challenge has come to a completion with each of the following scrollers completing the challenge of interpreting "Mentora" to suit their own personality.

At the time, we hadn't released the fretwork version (shown at the left) of "Mentora" but that didn't stop some of our scrollers from coming up with a fretwork derivative of the design! :)
